Blogger Party Potluck: Baby Girl Shower

They say when it rains it pours, and right now among my friends it is raining baby girls. Every pregnant woman I know has delivered or is expecting a girl. In honor of baby Lauren, baby Zoe, soon-to-arrive baby Indiana (how much do I love this name?) and later-to-arrive baby girl Hanlon, I'd like to roll out the virtual pink carpet to welcome their grand entrance to the world.

    I am so not a girly-girl and I kinda hate the color pink. But that doesn't get in the way of my enjoying these very lovely photos. Thanks for sharing :-)

    Pink peppercorn ice cream is awesome!! I had it at Chikalicious in the East Village--paired with a chocolate brownie, it is absolutely amazing.

    The beet hummus is awesome looking but I'm unsure about the taste? Also, that cake is absolutely awesome looking...sometimes simple is the best!

    So. Much. Pink. FOOD! I can't wait till I get to the age where my friends start getting pregnant so I can throw them a shower with all this delicious food! Strawberry risotto? Genius.
